Terms of use
The terms on which this demonstration site and product may be used.
Pre-launch draft. Accurate about how the system works today; not reviewed by a lawyer and not a contract.
What this environment is
Predicta is prediction-market infrastructure: it ingests event markets from public provider APIs, normalizes them into one catalogue, prices them, and exposes quotes, orders, positions and settlement to a partner platform through an API and an embeddable interface.
The deployment you are using is a demonstration environment. Market data is real and refreshed continuously from public provider APIs. Execution is simulated: no order placed here reaches a trading venue, no contract is bought or sold, and no funds of any kind move. Balances, positions and payouts shown in the product are illustrative and are stored only in your own browser.
Predicta does not operate an exchange, does not take the other side of a position, does not warehouse event risk and does not hold customer funds.
Permitted use
You may browse the catalogue, place simulated orders, and inspect the public API for the purpose of evaluating Predicta.
You may not attempt to interfere with the service, to access data you have not been granted access to, to place automated load on the API beyond ordinary evaluation, or to represent this environment as a live trading venue to any third party.
No advice, no offer
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is an offer or solicitation to trade any instrument.
Event contracts carry the risk of total loss of the amount committed. In a production deployment, whether such contracts may lawfully be offered to you is determined by the operating platform and by your jurisdiction, not by Predicta.
Market data
Market questions, prices, resolution criteria and outcomes originate with the underlying liquidity providers and their published sources. Predicta normalizes and republishes that data; it does not author the questions and does not decide the outcomes.
Prices shown may be delayed or stale. The product marks a quote as stale when it is, and refuses to price an order against data it cannot vouch for.
Availability
This environment is provided as-is and without any availability commitment. It may change, break, or be taken down without notice.
Status of this document
This is a pre-launch draft. It accurately describes how the system currently behaves and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
A production deployment requires a named contracting entity, a governing law and jurisdiction, and jurisdiction-specific regulatory analysis for every market in which event contracts would be offered. Those are commercial and legal decisions that have not been made, and this document does not pretend otherwise.
If you are evaluating Predicta commercially, ask for the current draft of the agreement rather than relying on this page.
