Complaints

How to raise a problem, and who is responsible for what.

Pre-launch draft. Accurate about how the system works today; not reviewed by a lawyer and not a contract.

Who to complain to

If you reached Predicta through an operator’s product, that operator holds the customer relationship, the licence and the funds. Complaints about your account, a deposit, a withdrawal, a limit or a settlement credited to your balance go to that operator first, through the complaints process in their product.

Complaints about the underlying market, the wording of a question, the source used to resolve it, or the outcome recorded, ultimately concern the venue that authored and settled it. Predicta will identify the relevant resolution source and pass a query on.

Complaints about Predicta itself, the catalogue, a price we published, a quote we returned, an order we routed, or this website, come to us directly.

How to reach us

Email support@predicta.markets with what happened, when, and what you expected instead. Include the market and, if there is one, the order or quote identifier: those are the two things that let us find the exact record rather than a similar one.

What we will do

We will acknowledge the complaint, investigate against our own records, and tell you what we found: including when the finding is that we were wrong.

Predicta has no external dispute-resolution scheme, ombudsman or regulator to escalate to, because Predicta is not a licensed operator. Where the complaint concerns a regulated operator’s conduct, escalation runs through that operator’s regulator, and this page does not stand between you and it.

Status of this document

This is a pre-launch draft. It accurately describes how the system currently behaves and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

A production deployment requires a named contracting entity, a governing law and jurisdiction, and jurisdiction-specific regulatory analysis for every market in which event contracts would be offered. Those are commercial and legal decisions that have not been made, and this document does not pretend otherwise.

If you are evaluating Predicta commercially, ask for the current draft of the agreement rather than relying on this page.
